Done with your Christmas Shopping yet? Gaaah! I loooathe that question! I used to be so good at getting things done! Bought, wrapped and ready to go before the end of October. And even now: 52 and in between careers, I still can’t manage to get it all done. I’m sure we’re all in the same-ish boat. Right? (Don’t rock the boat, Karen!) Good news, girlfriends! I’m here to help! I’ve just put together a list of my top Amazon favorites for this year. And, I promise, they’re all fantastic enough – you’ll want to buy two of each! One to gift and one to keep for yourself! Here we go: 1. This cute little laundry hamper is just the right size for beside a dresser or in a closet! Say goodbye to that ugly plastic dollar store laundry basket you’ve been trying to make fit in your closet! 2. Great deal on this Bissell Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner. This will easily do the trick spot cleaning the carpet when the Thanksgiving turkey gravy drips off someone’s plate, or when your Nervous Nelly kitty has the pukies in the middle of the night! I’ll be using this to prep my carpet before my daughter’s upcoming baby shower. 3. This is one of my all-time fave’s: Maybelline Colossal Mascara! The first half of 2021 was spent buying and trying sooooo many mascaras prior to my July wedding. Seriously, I’m embarrassed at how many tubes of mascara I ended up with! And this (super affordable) Colossal is what I ended up falling in love with – and still use daily! 4. And 5. Okay… Let’s talk night sweats! I could cuss about this – a lot! What the holy heck?! But these next two products help wick away the moisture so you don’t have to sneak away to your dry pajama stash in the bathroom because you’re so ungodly uncomfortable! The secret here is bamboo! Bamboo sheet sets and Bamboo pajama sets! 6. Do you have enough throw blankets? The answer is: Of course not! I love the super-rich color of this one! 7. I can’t remember how I came across this purse, but I love it! And the price? You won’t believe it, until you see it! You could easily afford a different color for every month! I have three, but have 15 more in my Amazon cart! 8. Then of course, you’ll want this insert to keep all of your purse essentials organized. I love mine! 9. I have these in my car: purse hooks that work with your vehicle's headrest. Keeps my purse handy and reachable hanging right behind the passenger seat. Where’s my Carmex?! 10. Speaking of purse essentials, the Baublerella Bling Brush is something that’s always in my purse… also in my desk drawer and in my bathroom. This sweet little thing keeps my jewelry sparkly whenever they need a quick touch up. The small pointed brush (already wet with cleaner) gets into the tiniest little intricacies of any jewelry piece. 11. If you don’t already have a light-up, magnifying vanity mirror, this is the one you’ll love! I love this because of the taller base than most normal vanity mirrors. I just can’t be bent over a mirror for any length of time, and this one adjusts nicely! 12. These spiral threader earrings are so stinking cute! Just enough whimsy, yet simple and elegant. I wear mine a LOT! 13. And these. Comfortable and pretty! And they're moonstone, which is supposed to be a symbol of divine feminine energy. It stimulates the pineal gland and balances hormonal cycles – so this is a two-fer. Beautiful AND it could help with PMS, peri- and menopause! Woot! As you know, I'm still considering myself a newlywed (7/10/21). So imagine how completely appalled I was when I started noticing just this past March that I had terrible body odor! I had NEVER had an issue with B.O. before! I'm clean, shower daily and yes, ALWAYS put on my deoderant. But this was ridiculous! I thought I had smelled something, but then one evening, we were settling in. I had just showered and put on clean pajamas. I about cried! "Honey, I don't know what's wrong with me! I just showered, washed, put on deoderant and clean pj's - and I STINK!" I felt like my midlife body was betraying me in the face of my recent nuptials. I was falling apart. Then my husband came to my rescue. He had handed me a bottle of deoderant that he had used previously. Certain Dri? A roll on? A 'man's' deoderant? And the color of the label... seriously! I liked my flowery, coconutty, pretty deoderant - that obviously wasn't working. So I tried it. I've been odor free ever since! I don't even use it every day. I'm SOOO thankful that this was something we had on hand that I could discretely try. My only words of advice on this one are: GET IT! |
